Welcome.
Since I have so many people asking me every week to forward my favorite LOST recaps, I've decided to write a blog where you can come and get the the links, read any of my updates and best of all, to read LJ's LOST thoughts.
First off I would like to explain what "NAMASTE" means.
"The title “Namaste” is a word we’ve heard many times before, always on Dharma orientation videos and in other Dharma-related contexts. It’s a word that originates from Sanskrit, and it goes far beyond its common use in India and Nepal. It’s a gesture of great respect used all over the world, and is even used in yoga as a spoken-word common greeting between the yoga instructor and his or her students. It has many different meanings — all related to respectful greetings — but literally translates as “I bow to you.” I figure all this must have some relevance to the events in this episode, but I’ll leave it to others to speculate on the specifics of that." (thank you Robin Parrish)

There are SO many great websites and blogs on Lost and the recaps are great. I'm posting 2 of them for you now. They are easy to read and not too long:
RECAPS:
http://www.approachinglost.com/2009/03/18/lost-509-namaste-recap/
http://jopinionated.blogspot.com/2009/03/lost-episode-509-namaste.html
If you want the more complicated recaps (I love them), just let me know.
My favorite LOST Podcast: http://www.jayandjack.com/
The Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack is done twice a week. There is a show the morning after a new episode on Thursday. The next show is on Mondays.
(I love to play it on my computer loud when I am cleaning the house or making dinner. They are very funny and very smart. Like-minded LOSTIE fans.)
ABC has released the schedule for the rest of Season 5 and confirmed that the season finale will be two-hours long!

Episode 5.10 - He's Our You - 25th March
Episode 5.11 - Whatever Happened Happened - 1st April
Episode 5.12 - Dead Is Dead - 8th April
Episode 5.13 - Some Like It Hoth - 15th April
Episode 5.14 - The Variable - 22nd April
Episode 5.15 - Follow The Leader - 29th April
Episode 5.16 - The Incident (Part One) - 6th May
Episode 5.17 - The Incident (Part Two) - 6th May
I'm not going to do my own recap because so many people do it better (and with photos!). But I will say I LOVED THIS EPISODE because we got to see so many of the characters in their mirror character.
- Jack, the non-hero & non-leader
- Kate, not being drooled over and stayin' puts (she's gonna have to fight for Sawyer if she wants him)
- Sawyer, the leader
- Hurley, Hurley
- Juliet, manipulative and cunning (scarring Kate at check-in, good one!)
- Sun, aggressive (finally! must of felt great to wack Ben)
- Jin, Jin (we need a kick-ass Jin-centric episode!)
- Sayid, the prisoner (bet he escapes and joins Richard Albert)
- Ben, Ben (gotta love him!).
Now, some questions to ponder (there are a million, and please add some to your comments):
- Where is Locke?
- Will we see Desmond arrive on his sailboat?
- Why didn’t Jack tell Sawyer that Ben was on the plane?
- Where is Daniel?
- Where is Claire?
- Where is Rose and Bernard?
- Is Sun Pierre Changs’s baby? And is that why Sun didn’t flash to the main island with the rest? Is she already on the island as a baby?
Favorite Scene: Sayid and young Ben (Sayid ends up working for Ben in the future)
Favorite Line: Sun: "I lied" (when Frank tells Sun he thought she trusted Ben)
That's it for now. Please comment below.
Namaste, Joanne
